The Czech Reublic is member of European Union from 1st May 2004, but we still do not use EUR. In Czech Republic you will pay by ČESKOU KORUNOU. Among paper money bellongs 5000, 2000, 1000, 500, 200, 100, 50 and each of them will show you famous person from Czech´s history.

CREDIT CARDS

You can easily pay by credit card in most of the shopping centres, restaurants, hotels, pensions, pubs and bars in Prague. If you will travel out of Prague we recommend you to have a cash with you.

ATM machines

You will find many ATM in Prague and bigger cities.

Exchange

It is easy to find exchange office in bigger cities and at borders. But be careful as many of them charge an extra commision or lower rate on exchange board.
